S-a nascut in 1869 in Bombay, colonia britanica India, intr-o familie din clasa superioara.

Aici intra in contact cu Societatea Teosofica, in urma caruia devine foarte interesat de religie si incepe sa citeasca textele sacre atat hinduse cat si crestine.

In tara natala, Bapu, incepe sa se opuna Imperiului Britanic, dorind independenta Indiei. A construit scoli, spitale, a organizat si unit indienii in lupta pentru independenta.

Good evening ladies and gentlemen,

Tonight we will talk about three ways to improve your sexual lives. We all know both men and women can encounter different and serious problems when it comes to sex, although the wide majority does not want to admit it. At the end of my speech you will go home to your partner, ready for the hot night you were both expecting for so long…

Hmmm… I don’t like this beginning. Allow me to start it all over.

Tonight I will reveal you three amazing secrets that will improve your skills to clean the toilet. We all know neither men nor women fancy this particularly dirty job, but, sooner or later, we all have to do it. Right now I will teach you a faster, easier and more hygienical way to clean your toilet.

Now, which speech would you like to hear? The first one or the second?

We have all listened at one moment of our lives to a speech on a topic that really interested us, but the pace of the speaker was something like this, so, so boring, that we have eventually and literally fallen asleep! I know I did!
This shows a total disrespect for the audience, doesn’t it?
At the other extreme, we have witnessed not such interesting topics, which, nevertheless, remained in our minds and hearts through their passion and enthusiasm, given by their tone of voice.
Dear guests and fellow members, I have to tell you the truth: it’s all about Vocal Variety! And I will give you now a more eloquent example from our every day lives, to prove my point.
Have you realized how people shout at each other when they argue and fight? Why is that? Why do we yell when we are angry? We lose our temper, right?
“You never listen! I always do everything in this house! I told you not to leave your socks on the kitchen table anymore!”
“How could you do that? You know I hate it, but you did it anyway! You never care!”
“What happened to the wonderful funny girl I met? You’ve turned into your mother!”
Why this need to scream when the other person is right near you? He can hear you perfectly well, yet, we scream to make our opinion heard! The true reason for this quite stupid behavior, we have to admit it, has been perfectly well explained by a wise man from India. Just listen to what he believes:
When two persons fight, their hearts get so far apart and in order to cover up that distance, they have to shout to make each other heard. The angrier they are, the louder they scream because the distance gets longer and longer.
On the other hand, what happens when two persons are in love? They never scream, do they? ( Or maybe just for pleasure…:) ) They talk smoothly and tenderly. Why is that? Because their hearts are so close to each other, the distance between them is so short, that they don’t even need to talk, they whisper. When love is incredibly strong they don’t even whisper, they simply look at each other and their hearts understand. They are connected through invisible wires that make the bonding so strong that nothing can ever come between them.
It seems quite awkward and still, so natural and logical, right? Does this explanation sound strange to you? It might, but we all know in our hearts how true it is.
Allow me to give you a friendly advice, and, at the same time, I provoke you to make this experiment. Next time when things get out of control, when spirits get fired up, try as hard as you can, not to raise your voice at all, on the contrary, try to whisper and experience what an enormous effect will have on your relationship.
Don’t let your hearts separate from each other, stop saying words that will only tear you apart and which you’ll only regret afterwards. Because, pay attention to this, there will come a day when distance will be so long, that your hearts won’t find their way back anymore!

After all, my dears, I told you, it’s all about Vocal Variety!

Vizionare placuta!
